Dr Andrew Mottram MD (MB BCh BAO MRCGP FRACGP) Founder & Lead Clinical Educator

Dr Andrew Mottram MD is a family physician with 24 years of clinical experience and a long-standing commitment to evidence-based medical education. His career includes five years as an instructor with the Resuscitation Council (UK), delivering both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) training, alongside hospital rotations across multiple acute and specialty disciplines including Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Stroke Medicine, Rheumatology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Intensive Care, and Major Trauma.

For the past 16 years, Dr Mottram has worked in General Practice / Family Medicine with a special interest in Dermatology and Minor Surgery, including three years performing skin cancer surgery in Australia. He also has over a decade of experience in Aesthetic Medicine, where he has progressed from practitioner to clinical trainer in both basic and advanced aesthetic procedures.

This broad and highly practical medical background spanning frontline emergency care, chronic disease management, surgical practice, and professional training places Dr Mottram in a unique position to design learning experiences that are clear, relevant, and immediately useful in real-world settings.

Drawing on this experience, he created Vacation Lectures to deliver short, sharp, impactful, evidence-based learning that empowers people to respond confidently in critical situations. The first lecture series focuses on First Aid and Health & Safety in the Workplace, where simple, memorable actions applied at the right moment can save lives.

Each module is developed with the same principles that guide Dr Mottram’s clinical practice: medical accuracy, professional integrity, practical application, and a genuine commitment to improving safety and health outcomes.
